4 Tam łamie ogniste strzały łuku,

5 Wspanialszy jesteś i potężniejszy
Niż góry odwieczne.
6 Ograbieni zostali odważni, popadli w sen,
A wszystkich wojowników siła rąk zawiodła.
7 Od groźby twojej, Boże Jakuba,
Zdrętwiały wozy i konie.
8 Straszny Ty jesteś!
Któż się ostoi przed obliczem twoim,
Przed siłą gniewu twego?
9 Z nieba ogłosiłeś wyrok:
Ziemia zatrwożyła się i zamilkła,
10 Gdy Bóg powstał na sąd, by wybawić wszystkich pokornych ziemi. Sela.
