Псалом 54
1 Диригентові, з музичним супроводом. Повчання Давида,
2 коли прийшли зифеї і сказали Саулові, що в них переховується Давид.
3 Боже, спаси мене силою Свого Імені, – Своєю могутністю захисти правоту мою.
4 Боже, вислухай мою молитву, прихили Своє вухо до слів моїх уст,
5 бо чужинці повстали проти мене, і жорстокосерді загрожують моєму життю. Вони не мають Бога перед собою.
Музична пауза .6 Але Бог допомагає мені, Господь підтримує моє життя.
7 Нехай обернеться зло на моїх ворогів. Задля Своєї вірності Ти вигуби їх!
8 Я охоче принесу Тобі жертву, прославлятиму Твоє Ім’я, Господи, бо воно чудове.
9 Адже Він визволив мене від усякого лиха, і мої очі споглядають на відступ моїх ворогів.

1 Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.
2 Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.
7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
